Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Local MD Urgent Care is a rapidly growing, locally owned Urgent Care group. We currently have 4 locations across the Chicagoland area with additional locations opening soon. We are looking for experienced Nurse Practitioners who put patient care at the forefront, are great communicators, value teamwork and are looking to grow their career with the right team.
At Local MD Urgent Care our Nurse Practitioners are responsible for giving outstanding care to our patients, maintaining patient records, initial scheduling, testing process/procedures, urgent patient needs and follow-up with patients as required.
Competencies:

Performs initial patient screenings/physical examinations/creates assessments plans

Addresses urgent care needs of the patients as needed

Orders, interprets, and analyzes diagnostic tests and determines the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options

Prescribes and manage medications and treatments as appropriate, including but not limited to psycho pharmacological agents

Delivers quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to appropriate
documentation. Coding, HEDIS measure, engagement of patients and managing medical expense

Qualifications:
-
Experience in urgent cares, family practice, geriatrics, hospice care, palliative care, hospital, ICU, SICU, ER
-
Minimum Master's Degree in Nursing

1 year of NP experience

Valid nurse practitioner or physician assistant license/Board Certification
-
NPI# as an NP
-
BLS/ACLS
-
Valid DL, Auto Insurance, willingness to drive to patients homes/patient location
