Good to know before you go
Do I need an appointment?
No, appointments are never required at Local MD Urgent Care. You can walk in seven days a week, or reserve your spot online before you arrive to minimize your wait time.
What makes your lab testing different?
We utilize advanced point-of-care diagnostics right inside our clinics, providing you with incredibly fast, accurate test results during your visit rather than waiting days for an external lab.
How do I get my test results?
Your test results are published directly to your secure patient portal as soon as they are processed. You will receive an email or text notification with a secure link to view them.
What should I bring?
Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID and your insurance card if you're using insurance. All privately insured patients are required to keep a valid credit or debit card on file, which will only be charged for applicable copays, deductibles, coinsurance, or other patient-responsible balances after your insurance has processed the claim; if you're paying out of pocket, please be ready to pay for services at the time of your visit. We're currently unable to accept Apple Pay, Google Wallet, or similar digital wallets, so a traditional debit or credit card is needed.
How do I pay my bill?
You can pay your bill easily and securely online through our patient payment portal. We accept all major credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and bank transfers.
